Authorized users are issued access cards or key ring fobs that designate which doors, the exact time frame and dates they are able to enter. A computer controls, monitors and records usage and monitors each door to alarm if it is held open too long or forced open. If an employee leaves the company or loses their access card/fob, there is no need to rekey the locks, merely delete them from the system.
