As of last week, Mobile shopping surpassed Desktop shopping for the first time in history! A recent study indicated 50.3% of all shopping online* was done through Mobile devices (phones / tablets). As well, in 2014 – Mobile Traffic is on pace to eclipse Desktop web traffic for the first time (and likely lead from then on out).

These are huge milestones and further proof that the consumer is now on the go and needs the fastest and most responsive web / shopping experience in order to be converted into a customer. If your website isn’t responsive, your bounce rate (visitors coming to your site and leaving) will increase, your conversion rate (visitors buying) will decrease, and your SEO (search optimization) will be affected negatively as Google now rates your site on whether it’s Responsive and Mobile friendly.
